The main features of the system are:

• Branding details for each client is stored in a database so one web site can be used for all clients.
• A pricing matrix is used to calculate the trade in value of IT items based on a series of criteria entered by the customer.
• Details of each calculation are recorded so the customer can return and pick up their previous offer details without needing to re-enter their details.  This also allows the company to track the usage of the system and to monitor the take up of the trade in offer.
• If a customer decides to take up the offer customer details are recorded collection dates entered and the item added into the internal company software system to be handled.
• Automated branded emails are used to keep the customer informed of the status of their trade in at any time.
• Customer logins are used to allow the customer to access the system and track the progress of their trade-in.

The company manages a fleet of vehicles ranging from cars to double-decker buses. 

The system allows the entry of Engineers Timesheets and the General Work Tickets for each vehicle that the Engineers are working on.  These are cross-referenced so data can be searched by vehicle, engineer, date range and various other criteria.

They system allows them to immediately view the maintenance history of a vehicle. 

The company is developing a helpdesk system to manage service calls from all of their shops.  The system is being developed as a MOSS portal on a server farm using SQL 2005 for data storage.  The company identified a need for additional assistance with developing some features that are not available with MOSS out of the box and to provide cover when the internal support was unavailable.

• Follow up diary system. Integration with 3rd party application.
• Controlling the progress of the publications during the printing/ despatch phase.

The EAN Application controls details of recipients of the Estate Agency News Letter. Functions include:

• Facility to add, edit and remove recipient details.
• Integration with 3rd party applications for physical distribution purpose.

The Job Management System (JMS) is a single application that allows for Sites and Purchase Orders to be administered in a multi-user environment. Functions include:

• Importing Purchase Orders from a variety of housing organisations in different file formats.
• Processing of Purchase Orders through their life-cycle from when the Purchase Order is initially Pending to when it has been Completed.
• Reporting facilities such as the production of Job Sheets for on-site workers and Job Tracking for management.

Allows Independent Financial Advisers to manage Clients and Policies. Functions include:

• Sharepoint portal to give advisers access to news, documentation, launch relevant websites and view their Task List
• ASP.NET, AJAX application to manage Clients, Policies and Commission

Once the document has been generated it is made available to users to read and fill in.  The date the users starts, and completes each section is stored.  The user is emailed a copy of each section as they compete it.  The full document, or individual sections or pages can be printed as PDF when required.
